Thanksgiving

I have so much to be thankful for this year. I have an amazing Son who learns loads & loads everyday. I have a great Husband who works hard for our family. I have the gospel in our lives which provide us with the knowledge that families are forever & how loved we are. We have jobs that provide money & Cars that take us from point A to point B safely. We have amazing Extended Families that are there to help us & encourage us in life. We have the opportunity to become parents again & begin the worry & "drama" all over again. We have great friends who are there for us. We have a lot to be Thankful for & I am thankful for the opportunity to have this blog to record our family events! I hope you all enjoy your Families & Thanksgiving Holiday!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

20 Months

Gavin is now 20 months! Wow time flies. Things he is into this month.

*His favorite words: Daddy, Doggy, Light & Droid - He just last night started saying Khaki for Cathy (My sissy who is here staying with her for Thanksgiving).

*He loves to run around the house & be chased or chase someone else.

*He will sit on the floor with his favorite book which is a book that plays some primary songs & play the songs over & over. He does it constantly all day long.

*He is totally an outside boy which hasn't been the best for him lately because it has been cold, but he tries to get his shoes & coat on all the time to go "bye, bye."

*He loves for you to pick him up so that he can turn on & off the lights with the light switch, that is a new fascination for him.

*He is becoming better & better with people. He will warm up to them & start cuddling with them & give them hugs & kisses. Super fun when we have family over now!

*He loves to give hugs & kisses to Mike & I & other people he feels comfortable with. It is cute.

*He is still a big car boy. He loves to play with his cars, big or small, everywhere we go. We always have to have a car with us.

*He likes to mimic things you say & do. If we are wiping up a spill, he like to help wipe up too!

He definitely keeps us on our toes!

16 Weeks

I am 16 weeks along today! I can hardly believe it. I seems like just yesterday I was freaking out that I was pregnant. Now we are 4 weeks away from half way there. May still seems so far away, but we are getting closer & closer. This pregnancy seems to be going faster in some ways & slower in others. With Gavin, I didn't have really anyone with me, so it seems to drag on because I was by myself. It also did go by faster as well because I had things to look forward to. With this one it is going by so fast because I have Mike & Gavin to take care of daily & they take care of me daily. But it is going by slow because I am still super sick especially at night.

We went to the doctor yesterday & he tried to find the heartbeat & couldn't find it. So we talked him into another Ultrasound. As soon as he put the wand on my belly, he found the baby & the heartbeat. He didn't tell us how fast the heartbeat was, but we were just glad that everything was okay. He tried to get the Money Shot, but the baby was being shy, so we wait another 4 weeks. I also think I felt the baby yesterday. I have been having movement feelings in my belly, but thinking they are too high or on the side to be the baby. Yesterday I felt a nudge right in front & low, so I defiantly think that was the baby. Pretty exciting! Now the fun stuff starts! I will try to get a new picture up, but our computers are still not uploading pictures, so we are working on that. Until next time...

Wallenberg Ditty Update

I have been such a blog slacker lately. I have a video post of Gavin saying Droid that won't uploan & both of our computers won't upload pictures anymore, so why blog when you can post pictures? Anywho, here is a little Wallenberg Family Ditty update!

Mike is still working at Home Depot. He has passed his Management Program & is not waiting for a Management Position that he wants to open up. We are hoping by the end of the year that he will be in a Management Position. He cut his thumb at work last Sunday the 24th of October & had to get 3 stitches. That has been an adventure. He should hopefully get them out sometime today. He is still trying to start his Xocai (Healthy Chocolate) Business, so if anyone is interested in learning more about Healthy Chocolate, let me know. Other then that, he is just plugging along, ready for the holidays to be here!

I am still pregnant. hehe! 14 weeks today! 2nd trimester baby! I am growing a belly that you really can see now, it isn't just Gavin fat anymore. I am still working my insurance billing job 7-3:30 M-F. For now, & probably for always, it is a job & brings in money. I love coming home to a baby little guy to play with before bed. Literally as soon as Gavin is in Bed, I go to bed. This pregnancy has kicked my butt. I am tired all the time & still nauseated. Such is life! I will be coloring my hair tonight even though I can't decide to stay blonde or go dark. Other then that, just living life & starting to get ideas ready for Christmas presents & fun stuff like that.

Gavin is just a happy little guy. I am sure he doesn't know that he will be a big brother in 6 months time. He was a Monkey for Halloween & loved his costume. He is still an outside boy & gets really angry if he can't go outside because it is too cold. We have now transitioned him into hard spouted sippy cups & he just goes with the flow & does whatever!

We are still waiting for our closing date on our house. It will be another year! We are getting Family Pictures done this weekend, can't wait for that. We have family coming for Thanksgiving so we are looking forward to spending time with them & I am excited for the day after Thanksgiving sales! Other then that, that is all the family news I think I have! Until next time...

12 Weeks

Today I am officially 12 weeks along! Kind of hard to believe, but we are there. The puking has not let up. Last night & this morning are proof of that! We went to the Baby Doctor yesterday & saw our baby. It measured right at 11 weeks 6 days & the heartbeat was good & strong. On the Ultrasound it was 160 & on the Fetal Heart Monitor it was 170. The Doctor gave us a 51% chance of having a girl because he said that he delivers more girls then boys & that he generally thinks that there are more girls in the world! Other then that, everything is looking good. I got my blood drawn for all the many wonderful tests they do & got a Flu Shot! The only thing I could really ask for is to start feeling better! I am so super excited to be with the Doctor that we are with this time. Our Doctor with Gavin was great, but this Doctor we have known for a long time & we feel very comfortable with him & his staff. I am really excited to have him as our Doctor for the experience this time! We will deliver at American Fork Hospital this time around & we are excited for a new experience this time around. With Gavin, Mike wasn't here to experience it so it is nice having him here for it too! As soon as our computers are back up I will post some pictures!

PS - There is only 1 baby! Thank goodness!

19 Months

Just a couple of updates on the Little Guy this month. Now that he is 19 Months & All!

His new favorite words this month - Where's the Dog, Ow & Droid

His new favorite food - Anything Pasta but mostly Fettuccine Alfredo.

He is really good at pointing out & getting things you are asking for now. He will point to the light & go get his Monkey anytime you ask.

We are still working on body parts. I sing "Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes" every day to him & he loves the song & will laugh, but he has only touched his head twice doing this. He will get it one day!

He has this new Dance. When he hears music he will stand up & tap the heal of his left foot to the beat. It is cute & one day I will get a video of it!

He loves anything Car & that is really all he wants to play with lately!

He now has 11 teethers & is working on the 12th tooth. He has a Molar on top & is working on the other top side molar & maybe even more teeth. He constantly has his hands in his mouth & has been quite fussy lately!

He is all Boy & we Love him!

Surprise

So we are pregnant! We are due the beginning of May. Just for reference & remembering, I thought I would write down how we found out & fun things like that, so we don't forget. It was Friday the 13th. I didn't think I was anywhere close to ovulating, so we didn't think anything about it. The next day I had thought about getting the Morning After Pill (don't judge me) but thought everything would be fine. I was supposed to start on the 31st of August, so I wasn't planning on taking the test until September 1st if I hadn't started. On Monday, August 30th something just told me to ask Mike to buy a pregnancy test on his way home & I would take it in the morning just to have peace of mind. Tuesday morning I woke up late, took the test really quick & jumped in the shower. The whole time in the shower I was thinking, when I get out it will say "Not Pregnant" so stop worrying. You will start today & blah. I got out of the Shower & read the test & it said "PREGNANT." I freaked out! Called Mike into the bathroom & started hyperventilating. He kept telling me "everything will be okay" & "it will all work out." He seriously didn't think I was pregnant & said it isn't right, take it again tomorrow. He thought I would start that day. Well, I didn't! I took the other pregnancy test the next day & hopped in the shower only to get out to the same thing "PREGNANT." Mike asked me how I was when I came out of the bathroom & I said "still pregnant." Hehe.

So there you go, that it the story of our 2nd baby! I am getting more & more excited everyday, but I am still freaked out! We will have our 1st OB appointment on the 18th, so we can't wait for that & for the new update posts on our new addition!

Happy Birthday

My Birthday was last weekend & it was a great one this year. I can't believe that I am 28 already, but I was done with 27! So here is to a great year!

I got to sleep in on my birthday, Mike got me a Nook (Love it!) & I got to hang out with my little guy & a bestie for the day! We went to La Frontera & spent some good time together. Mike & I went out of icecream while he was on lunch at work & we watched a movie that night at home together!

I listened to General Conference too! I like it when my birthday is on General Conference weekend, it makes it a more relaxing weekend! Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes, texts, emails, cards, phone calls! You helped make it a great day! Until 29...

Another Hair Cut

Gavin needed another hair cut, his hair grows so fast. So this time Mike decided that he could do it. He really did a really good job. And Gavin did so much better this time too. Don't get me wrong, he didn't sit still, but he didn't cry the whole time this time. Check it out.

18 Months

I have been MIA from the blogging world. So much is going on around us & I just needed a break to catch my breath. Here is a little ditty on Gavin & 18 months!

*He is 21 lbs 8 & 1/2 ozs. He is still growing. The Dr. said he is smaller but right on schedule.

*He hasn't been a big eater lately, but when he does manage to eat he likes all types of food.

*He says lots of words, it is hard to keep track of them all now. His new new words are Droid & Kitty Cat.

*He is a pro walker & loves to run around as well.

*He loves to sneak into our room where all his books are & hid in front of our bed in between the bed & the bookshelf & read his books.

*He is still a great sleeper & is down to 1 nap a day now.

*He is defiantly an outside boy. He will do anything to get outside. He will grab his shoes & your shoes & wait by the door or try to open it to go outside & play.

*He loves to give Hugs & Kisses. To us, to his stuffed animals.

*He now has 10 teeth. 4 up front top, 4 up front bottom & 2 on bottom on either sides that are molars. YAY for catching up!

He is a super cute little guy & we are glad he is ours! He is doing so much & we are excited to see what he does next!
