Mr. Reader

All my posts are about Gavin lately. Well, Gavin won an iPod (or bike or Scooter, but he already has those) from School for all his reading he has done this year. He has been great about it and had grown so much this year in his reading. He can just sit down and read a Berenstain Bear book now without hardly any help and in about 20 minutes. He loves to buy new books and gets excited to read new books he gets. We are so proud of him.

Zoo Field Trip

Gavin had his 1st Grade Field Trip to the Zoo last Friday. It was his first time on the school bus and he had so much fun. I am glad that I got to go with him. We saw all the animals and ate lunch together and drove back to the school from the bus.

Gavin's First Day of First Grade

On August 19th, Gavin started his first day of first Grade, Dual Immersion. And the fun thing about that, is that Mike gets to take him to school and I get to pick him up and take him home. It has been a lot of fun doing that with him. He has already learned so much in Spanish and is loving his school and all the new friends he is making.
