Play Place

Gavin has a new favorite play place. He loves it when we take down the gate to the stairs, he scurries down there and plays on the carpet between the downstairs door and the stairs. He hates it when we put the gate back up or make him come back upstairs.

24 Weeks

First lets talk about the details. I gained 4 lbs and measured 23 cm which is normal. At the ultrasound the baby's heartbeat was 143 bpm & he measured a 1 lb 11 oz. He is also measuring right on now as opposed to last time he was measuring a week late. Growth Spurt?

This Pregnancy has turned my life, my whole way of thinking an "easy" pregnancy can be upside down! With Gavin I truly did have a great, easy, wonderful pregnancy. This one has been quite the opposite! Right off the bat it was a Shocker, then I tested positive for Group Strep B which means that I have to have Antibiotics while I am in Labor. On top of it all I have been sick since about 6 weeks to about a couple weeks ago. At our 20 week Appointment our Ultrasound Tech didn't get a good reading of some stuff so we had to go back and get a new reading. I went and did that this week and discovered that everything is perfectly fine with our little Miracle Boy #2, but the issue is with me. With Gavin's delivery he tore the placenta and it started to deliver before him, which was a worry for the Dr. and Nurse. I didn't fully understand the worries of it then because Gavin came and was perfect, and everything with me worked out great, no complications. With this one it seems that I am headed in that same direction, but this Dr. is much more concerned about it then the last. My placenta is only .55 cm away from my cervix, it should be at least 2 cm away to have a natural vaginal delivery. I will go back in 4 more weeks again for another reading and if it hasn't moved by then I will most likely have a C-Section. I am kind of thinking at this point that if I had the same issue with Gavin and it is happening again, that it most likely won't move up. Whew...that is a mouthful! We will keep you all updated on the progress and what will likely be the outcome of getting our Little Guy #2 here! Sorry for so much information, but need to record it for family history! Cuddler

Gavin likes to randomly come up to you when you are sitting and climb on you to give you a hug. He likes to sit ALL OVER YOU! It is super cute for the minute that it lasts, then it is over because he is on to something else.

The Big THREE-OH!

Last Saturday Mike had a Birthday & turned the BIG THREE-OH! What a big milestone! We started out the day with Breakfast at Mike's Favorite Breakfast place, One Man Band. After that we hit up the Grocery Store to stock up for the next week. We then ventured back home so Gavin could take a nap before our BIG NIGHT OUT! I took a nap too while Mike put together his Birthday Present, a big Air Compressor. Now he can do the big stuff on our Cars. He is Super excited about that. We needed to be a Walmart at 3ish to pick up his cake & then on our way to Pirate Island! We spent the evening with Mike's Family playing in the arcades & eating great Pizza & visiting! They had a Balloon guy come make us Balloon Creations & even sang to Mike & embarrassed him! After that we ate Cake & started winding down! It was a great night filled with Fun, Laughter, Family & Good Times! I hope Mike always remembers this night! We all had such a great time! Working Boy

On New Years Day, Mike & I decided to clean out our computer desk as it is the thing that collects all the stuff from around the house. After it was cleaned off, Gavin decided that he could then "Work there." Check him out, so super professional in his Pajamas!

Ready for Church

A couple months ago I bought Gavin this cute little church outfit. I decided to get it out this year & have wear it! He looks so cute in it. The only bad thing is 11 o'clock church, so he was super grumpy before we even left for church! At least he looks cute!

The Big One! Happy Birthday

Happy 30th Birthday Mikey! We hope you have a great day & can't wait to spend the day with you! He is not really excited about turning 30, so we are trying to make it a special day for him! I will be back later for a post Birthday post with all our fun happenings of the day. In the mean time, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKE!

New Years Resolutions

I usually make a couple New Years Resolutions every year, but being pregnant & I can't lose weight, I kind of slacked this year. For the last 5 days I have been thinking about what can I approve on? Here is what I have come up with so far.

*Don't get over 150lbs this pregnancy. It will be harder then with Gavin because I started about 10lbs heavier this time then with him, but I can do it. I only hit 150 with Gavin!

*Don't buy things that we don't need. This is one that Mike & I decided would be a family Resolution this year.

*Save some money.

*Strive to attend all Church meetings. This one has been hard already with 11 o'clock church. Gavin threw the biggest fit on Sunday & we ended up leaving church at 11:58. By 12:10 he was asleep! Somehow I will make it work though.

That's what I have got so far. After the baby is born, I am sure I will have a whole new set of resolutions!

2010 Year in Review

Here is the Annual 2010 Year in Review

January - Mike turned 29, we started a New Year, New Years Resolutions, Gavin got his upper teeth, apparently it was a boring month!

February - Valentines Day, another boring Month

March - Gavin turned 1, we celebrated our 5 year anniversary, Gavin's 1st Birthday Party, Ran my first 5k.

April - Finally finished Nursing, Gavin got his first ear infection, Easter, Started doTerra.

May - Gavin starts showing interest in walking, Mothers Day, I got Employee of the Month.

June - Fathers day, Gavin turns 15 months, Gavin killed my Cell phone by throwing it in the bath, Gavin's first Haircut, another Ear Infection.

July - Gavin finally officially starts walking, Gavin finally officially hits 20 pounds, working on tons of things around the house. Got an offer on the house.

August - I have been at my job for 4 years, Mike has been in the Navy for 2 years, Swimming, We find out we are expecting again!

September - First Family Vacation, We have an 18 Month old, Gavin gets another Hair Cut, We got rid of Bear:(.

October - I turn 28, Announce Wallenberg Baby 2011, Halloween, Pumpkin Carving!

November - Family Pictures, Thanksgiving, 16 weeks trying to find out what we are having.

December - It's a Boy!, 20 Weeks, Christmas, Gavin meets Santa for the 2nd time, Gavin turns 21 months, More Family Pictures, More Family traditions.

We defiantly can't wait to see what 2011 brings us. A new place to live? Saving Money to get out of debt? New Baby Boy to join our family! 6 Year anniversary! Turning 30! It will be an EXCITING year!

Taking Down Christmas

On Wednesday we took down our Christmas Decorations. Gavin was so into helping. We have a stocking tree holder & he wanted to help Mike unscrew & take it apart! So cute & such a big helper!

Today, Gavin was having kind of a rough day, so we sat on the couch & cuddled! So fun & I will miss these days when we have double duty and 2 boys.
