Cozy Coupe

Garett got a Cozy Coupe from Grandpa Wallenberg for his birthday.  Now we just have to wait for it to warm up more outside and we can take it out and play with it.  It has been warm, but I want him to be walking too!  Cute boy!  He loved it too!

Garett's 1st Birthday

Prepare for picture overload!

On Saturday, January 10th, Garett turned one!  We spent the day getting his picture taken (as well as his brothers) then got a Jamba Juice (which he loved), went home to get a nap, and then it was PARTY time.  It was a great day filled with fun and family.  We chose The Very Hungry Caterpillar as a theme for his birthday and it turned out great!

Test

For a couple years now, since I have decided to go back to school, I have been wanting and planning to go to a Dental Hygiene program.  That is what I have been working toward since returning to school.  I was sick of my job and boss and wanted to have a degree and career.  Last May I found a Dental Hygiene program in Murray, Utah that will start me in the program with the classes that I have and will help me to get the other prereqs needed for the program.  I contacted the school last May and we have been working ever since to get this started.  In December I went in and took the Wonderlic test.  You have to score a 16 on that text and I scored a 26!  Then in January I went to the HESI study group and studied my little heart out to prepare for the HESI.  I took it on the 9th of January...AND I PASSED!  Holy crap.  You have to get a 75% on that and I got an 84.5%.  I have since talked to Financial Aid, and now I am not so sure this will happen, but if it is meant to be, it will all work out.

New Toys

For Christmas the boys got Wiggle Cars and Scooters.  They have been so excited to try them out, but with the amount of snow we got around Christmas, it has been a couple weeks before they could.  On the 3rd of January, we took them out to the school and let them play for a little bit before Greyson fell into the snow and was ready to go home.  They had fun though and can't wait for it to warm up so they can play on them more.

Broken Hand

On December 29th, Mike came home from work and said his hand hurt.  On Tuesday (the next day) he woke up and it was swollen and hurt more.  He went to the Doctor and it was broken.  They splinted it and told him to come back in a week for a cast.

Then he went and got a "camo" green and black cast put on it that he will be in for 3 weeks.  Hopefully he can get it off and keep it off this Friday, because it is hard being a mechanic with one hand/arm, and he doesn't want to go drill this weekend with a cast.  If it isn't healed, then it will be back on for 2 more weeks.  Here's to broken bones.

Tired Boy

Greyson is in that stage right now where he doesn't go to bed at night if he gets a nap, but is super cranky at dinner time if he doesn't get a nap.  It has been like that for about 6 months with now with him.  On Friday he was so cranky before we left the house, so I sent him to his room.  He was laying on the floor on one of his pillows and a couple minutes later I went to check on him and he had fallen asleep like that.  Just like last night, when I sent him to his room and he was laying on his bed.  A couple minutes later he was asleep.  I had to wake him up to put his jammies on him and then he was up until 9:15! Can't win with him!

Hungry Boy

On Mike's Birthday, Garett decided he was hungry enough to eat his normal dinner of Mac and Cheese and a whole piece of pizza.  He is going to eat me out of house and home, that one!

If you can't find Garett, look for him under the kitchen table.  He is usually there because Gavin and Greyson are always spilling their food under the table, so he can eat under there.  He is always hungry!

New Suits

For Christmas, we got the boys new suits.  We got Gavin a Size 6 in boys, Greyson a size 4T and Garett a 12 Month.  Can't believe how fast they are growing.  They wore them to church yesterday so we had to capture it.  Gavin looks so good in a white shirt and pinstripes

Garett's Birthday Party Invite

We decided to do a Very Hungry Caterpillar birthday party for Garett's 1st birthday.  I love out the invite turned out.

Today is Mike's 34th Birthday!  It has been a crazy busy 10 years, but we have made it this far.  He didn't want to celebrate it (he hasn't wanted to celebrate for a couple years now :) ) but we made Digiorno pizzas and had Red Velvet Cake (his favorite).  He broke his hand a couple weeks ago (another post) so that is why he has a cast.  Love you! New Years Day

On New Years Day, we had a great day playing with our Christmas Toys, Shopping and exchanging some Christmas stuff we had gotten and playing as a family.  That was bath night and when Greyson got in the bath, I was washing him and he said showing me his left leg, "Mom, this hurt me last night."  It was bright red and swollen and had white in the middle.  It looked like a spider bite that was infected.  He wasn't crying, just saying that it hurt.  So, to be on the safe side, I took him to the ER.  Of course, because we still haven't paid the balance we owe on the Thanksgiving ER trip yet (oops, need to pay that!)  When we got there, it was SO BUSY.  And I looked at his leg, and it didn't look as bad as when we left, so I felt like a loser.  Everyone was sick and miserable and Greyson was running a screaming around everyone.  It was great.  We finally got back about an hour after we got there and left about 3 hours after we first arrived.  The Dr. determined that it was a burn of some sort, like a rug burn.  But I don't know how he would have gotten it randomly on the middle of his leg.  So they asked that we keep it covered because he was scratching it and they didn't want it to get infected.  They gave him an antibiotic as well.  It looks so much better now!

Happy New Year

We were boring this year, like always.  The boys got cranky around 8, so we watched King Julien's New Year countdown on Netflix and shot off the party poppers the boys got in the Christmas stockings.  Then we sent the boys off to bed and Mike and I watched Hours with Paul Walker (Crazy movie).  HAPPY NEW YEAR!
