Yesterday

Uh...Hello! February is OVER! Well, almost. I need to get a Leap Year Day post in here somehow, right?

Yesterday, was a CRAPSTASTIC day! It really was. The boys went to a new babysitter, which was fine, but I was a nervous nelly all day long. Got home from work to make dinner, and guess what, I didn't have everything I needed to make said dinner. So we had to slum it at Burger King. After we got home from BK at about 6:45 pm, Greyson cried, and cried, and screamed until literally 8pm when I finally got him on the boob! WTH? Nothing helped him.

Then he was up and down all night last night. I don't know if it was stress of a new babysitter, or teething or breathing. (that is another post I need to get around to writing)

So, yeah. It isn't all peaches and roses at my house. I wish it was sometimes, that I didn't have to deal with all the drama, or unknown. I try to be happy all the time and put on a happy face, but I am feeling the effects of last night, and wanting to get my crappy feelings of yesterday out so I can move on...and do better today!

Now...on to better things! Stay tuned for happier posts...and maybe a couple (or 1) crappy one!

Changes

Wow...How life changes in a few short weeks. Here are a couple of ours...Just from the last couple weeks.

*Mike got a new job. He started working at Larry H. Miller Honda as a Mechanic on May 9th. We now gets every Sunday off (except Drill weekends). Yay for going to church!

*I am offically back to work as of today:( We will get through it though.

*We have decided to take our house off the market & stay in Eagle Mountain for a while longer. We don't know how long or what the future holds for us, but we feel good about this decision at this time!

Other then that, we are excited to see what other changes will be coming to our family in the future.

New Big Changes

Our lives are about to change as we know it. I have been wanting to write this post for a while, but also dreading it at the same time. We had the appraisal done on the house yesterday, so now it just needs to be sent to the bank for funding & then we will get our closing date! (as long as the bank is willing to fund the loan) We have been looking for places to live, but since we don't know when we can move & are still paying our mortgage just in case, we can't put $ down for a deposit yet. We are batting around the idea of maybe not staying in Utah. Mike would love nothing more then to move back to AZ & we could end up in a coastal state or HI if Navy Full Time is an option for us. Mike is putting in for a different rate this weekend at Drill! He is a Construction Mechanic right now & wants to change to an MA (Military Authority) which is Military Police. So if he gets that, then we might consider putting in for full time, then he will have to get his training, so another 13+ weeks of A school for him. But we both have stable jobs in Utah! There are just so many options for us. Mike is also in the Managment program at Home Depot now & is training to become a Department Head. As soon as we get things stabilized, we will solidify plans & let everyone know!

Another big change. We also sold our doggie yesterday! We get to keep him until we move out or go on Vacation in September, which ever comes first. It hasn't really hit me yet, but it will! It is for the best though, it will be so much easier to move without a dog to have to worry about. I didn't have a dog growing up & I always wanted one, so when Mike & I got married we said that we wanted at least a little dog around for our kids to play with & learn a little bit of responsibility. It will be different, but it is what needs to happen for our little family right now. That is the update as of today...Will continue to keep you posted!
