This blog is private, and I am pretty sure hardly ANYONE (except Mom and Wendy) read it. So, here goes my divine inspiration.
I have had the prompting for a while now, but the last 10 days or so it has been really strong. Then last Saturday at the Young Women's Medallion Dinner, there was a talk given about writing down everyday where you have seen the hand of the Lord in your lives. When you recognize it, and remember it, you will notice it more and more. I have been on a mission the last 10 days to remember each day what has blessed me or made my day maybe a little bit better. I have thought about how to keep a record, and really the only thing I could think of was the blog. I don't want to create another blog because then it would be harder keeping them both up, one would fail. And I don't want it all over Facebook. I was thinking I could text it to myself, but on the Blog, it will get printed out and I can always remember how I was helped by the spirit...
I remember the first one I really got the impression to jot down was on Saturday, February 23rd. I was on my way to Zumba class, Mary (Mother in law) came down to watch the boys for me and we all knew there was this big snow storm coming. I was almost to class and the snow started, fast, and was sticking. I made it to class safely and I was so thankful that I was safe, Mary was safe with the boys and Mike was safe at Drill. I was worried about getting home, and when Mary would leave to get home and Mike on his way home, but we all arrived safely. I am thankful for Mary's willingness to come watch the boys for us when I have class and Mike is at Drill Weekend.
Last week my babysitter told me she was going out of town for Spring Break so we needed to find someone to watch the boys that week. We have someone else who can watch them, but we already knew she was out of town that same week. I asked my mom and she checked on it, but wasn't sure it would work out. I asked another neighbor and she was not sure they were going to be available either. I was worried. Mike and I can't take that time off, Mike wouldn't get paid for it and I don't have the PTO. My sister called and said she was planning to make a trip up here to see us and it just so happened that she was thinking that same week. She got the time off work and is planning to come up to see us and will watch the boys while she is here. I am so thankful for her!
There have been others like when I was thinking about moving to a Selling doTERRA team but wasn't quite sure, then as soon as I prayed for guidance, my director emailed me with the info I needed to switch teams. I took that as a sign! And when I was sick, Mike took the boys out of the house on a Saturday and went shopping by himself at Walmart and Costco. I am thankful for him! All these little Tender Mercies that have happened just in February, I am so thankful for! They keep me going, they make me be better. I will try to be better at seeing the hand of the Lord in my life and documenting it for at least myself so that I know he knows me and loves me!

Weight
Just for rememberences. I know I still need to do a Greyson update, but on Monday I took the boys to the DR because they have had these colds for a week and horrible coughing and runny noses. These were their weights!
Gavin - 32 lbs
Greyson 23.8 lbs
Yes, this was fully clothed with their boots on, but hey, they are growing!

Gavin Update
Here is the Gavin update
He is currently 1 month away from his 4th birthday - Wha?
He is still in Preschool, and loving it still.
He is now taking a Dance class this "semester" on Monday nights that he loves.
His favorites are:
Food: Chicken Nuggets
Movie: Anything Word World or Alvin and the Chipmunks
Letter: G
Color: Green or Red, depends on the day
Song: "Rumour has it" by Adele or "We are Never Ever getting back together" by Taylor Swift
TV Show: Phineas & Ferb
He is still my outside boy, he can say the whole alphabet so good, he can count to 17, but if you help him to 25. He is now doing "chores" and we give him $.50 for things he does around the house.
He is in Sunbeams, and he LOVES it, maybe even more than Nursery, and he loves his Teacher.
He is such a good big boy! We love him!

What I've Been Up To
So...besides going back to school, work, being a mom, and wife, my calling and NOT blogging...here is what I have been up to.
I have decided I might want to try my fans at selling doTERRA. As my New Years resolution this year was to Lear more about them and incorporate them into our daily lives, I feel like this is the next big move. I have been using the oils for lots if good to in our home. I have made healing salve (bum cream), Vicks shower pucks and Vicks vapor rub. These are all homemade, natural, and i know and can say all the ingredients I am putting in them! Also I have 2 diffusers so we have been reaping the benefits of that!
I also have on the burner to make natural Neosporin and lip balm!
If you are interested in doTERRA or learning more about it, please let me know :)

Mike's 32nd
Ok. This is sooooooo cool! I am blogging from my phone at work. Who knew right? So now that gives me no excuse for not blogging. I can just upload pictures from my phone and off we go.
So Mike celebrated his 32 birthday this month. Crazy old fart! He ended up working and I took the day off to take care of Pukey Greyson. We ate ordered in Chilis and ate Red Velvet birthday cake. When we sang Happy Birthday and gave Mike his cake, Gavin was so mad that there were no candles on the cake, so we put a candle on his piece of cake to make home happy. He said it wasn't a Birthday without candles.
It was a good day and we are so thankful for Mike in our lives! Happy Birthday Mike. Love you!

New Year 2013 Resolutions
I have been thinking a lot the last couple days on what I wanted for New Year 2013. I could go the "Be healthier, lose weight, save money, pay off bills" route, but I wanted to think outside the box this year. So here goes...
* Graduate with my Associates!
* Learn more about Oils and use them more in our daily lives
* Take a family vacation (since it really didn't happen last year)
These are my main ones that I really want to focus on. I also have the usual resolutions...
* Family Prayer, personal prayer, Family and personal Scripture study, Focus on Preparing YW Lessons, Monthly Temple Trips.
I would also like to really start working on the house, getting it ready so that when we can sell it, it might sell better, faster and yeah!
