Greyson Hand Update

One of the last things I blogged before I took my break was about Greyson's hand and how he burned it.  It is going so good and he doesn't mention it or complain about it at all.  It actually
looks normal.  He burned it when he was helping me make dinner which he used to do all the time.  Well, his first day of preschool, he helped me make dinner again!  I loved it!

I only had to tell him about 4 times that the stove was hot and to not touch it.  I am not going through a burn hand situation again!

Gavin Kindergarten

On Tuesday, August 26th, Gavin started Kindergarten.  That was a little bit harder for me.  But, he is doing so great.  He has the same teacher he had for preschool and we Love Ashley so it is great.  He has a lot of friends and is learning so much.  He can read so well.  We are so proud of him!

Greyson Preschool

On August 25th, Greyson started Preschool.  He was kind of excited to go, but now loves going.  He goes to Jenny Penny Preschool in the neighborhood next to us.  He has learned so much and prays often about the letters he will learn the next day at school.  He goes Monday and Wednesday from 9:15 to 11:15.

Visit from Grandpa

Mike's dad came to visit us in August.  It was so great to see him and have him meet Greyson and Garett.  We haven't seen him in 4 years so it was a nice visit.  Here he is with the boys.

All three of the boys loved him and were so excited to have him the 3 days we got to spend with him.  We need to see him more often!

Garett

Here is Garett at 7 months! He is sitting up and becoming a big boy!

Bunk Beds

As I mentioned in my last post, we bought the boys bunk beds so that they could have more room and their room to put the toys and play, and to have the toys out of the living room for more room out there.  Gavin had a rough time the first week with it being on the top, but had done great since then and they love the beds!

Greyson's Head

Ok, so just to forewarn you, there will be a lot of posts coming of Greyson and his head.  He is so clumsy and can't really keep it together, so stuff like this happens.

But this time, we can't completely blame it on Greyson.  We moved the toybox into the boys' room when we bought the bunkbeds (post coming) to make more room...everywhere.  So the boys started to play in their room more.  One day in August they were in there playing and I heard them closing and opening the closet door.  I asked Gavin to stop and all of a sudden, a big crash, and Greyson is crying hysterically
.  I am feeding Garett on the couch so I can't really get to him and I am asking him to come to me.  After a minute or so and he hasn't come to me, I go get him and find this!

The closet door fell and hit him square in the head.  He had a little bit of a black eye too, but that bump and gash on his head! Not Fun!  Luckily he has been okay (except for all the clumsiness!)  This kid I swear will be the death of me.

24th of July

Alright, alright, alright! It is time to start blogging again! I have wondering if I should give up blogging and stick to Facebook and Instagram to share all our stories and pictures, but I just keep coming back to I can print my blog out and share it with the boys (Even though I haven't even finished my last year blog book and printed it yet, and it is almost already time for this years blog book to be printed!) I am running behind. So, lets get started where we left off with the 24th of July!!!

The Fourth of July this year we went up to my Mother-In-Law's house and helped her clean stuff out because she just moved, so there wasn't anything big that happened that day.

The 24th of July we spent the day together after one of our long time friend and neighbor Sister Scott passed away! We still miss her so much!

We shot off fireworks, which Greyson still hates and Gavin still loves.  The jury is still out on Garett.  Here is Greyson enjoying the fireworks while being funny in the house.

Family Pictures 2014

In September we had our annual family pictures taken at Thanksgiving Point at Fotoflyaway.  Of course, we love them.  We love my pink hair too! I hope you enjoy them too :)
