8 Months

I am slacking more & more each month on these monthly updates, but I want to do them so we can all look back & see what Gavin was up to & when he was doing it.

I have no idea what he weighs, but he is still a chunck!

He is now up to size 3 diapers.

He is in his 6-9 month clothes & has been for a month now, we might have to get him into 9-12 month Gerber onesie soon.

He has mastered the roll from his tummy to his back, we are still working on him mastering the roll from his back to his tummy, but he sure hates being on his tummy. If I put him on his tummy on my tummy, we always rolls off! Silly kid.

He has 2 teeth, his bottom front teeth. They are so cute until they bite you when you are feeding him!

He sleeps from about 9pm-5:30am.

We are working on solids again. That week he was sick last month he kinda lost all interest in solids, but he will eat those melt in your mouth Cheerios if you suck on them first & get them soggy. He will eat bread & he LOVES oatmeal. That is the only baby food he will eat as of right now. No more Applesauce, Bananas or Pears! One day he will get back to it hopefully!

He will pull on your hands, clothes, anything he can get his hands on to pull himself to a standing position when he is sitting.

He is also working on pulling up from laying into a sitting position.

He lounges his body at anything & everything that he sees that he wants.

He is holding his own bottle & feeding himself with it!

He still loves Bathtime, his Jumperoo & to talk & talk & talk. He says "mumumum", "dadadad", "babababa", & something that sounds like "hi" or "hey"

I can't believe my little guy is 8 months old. He has done so much in the last month. Can't wait to see what next month brings.

Family Pictures

We had Ashley take our Family pictures a couple weekends ago. I can't wait to get the CD of all the images from her, but until then, I have posted on the side bar some of the proofs that she sent to us of our cute little Family, of Mike & I & of the LG. Check them out & let me know what you think? I will post more pictures when I get them from her! Thanks again Ashley for doing this for us!

HALLOWEEN

Our Halloween was interesting. Read the next post for the day time fun. Friday was our work Halloween party. We had a "Mad Hatter" party. We all made our own hats to display for voting. We had a raffle & the hat with the most votes won the money. I was 2nd place. Dangit! We had a great pot luck (like we always do) & hardly worked all day.

Saturday night we dressed up Gavin & Bear & passed out some candy to all the little kiddies. Gavin refused to take his early evening nap because he new there was something going on & he wanted to be a part of it. Since we refused to nap, we had to close down Halloween shop early to get him bathed & put to bed. Enjoy our Halloween pictures.

More H1N1

This weekend wasn't the greatest weekend for us. Mike started having "complications" Friday night & we decided that we would hold off on anything until Saturday because we weren't quite sure if it was bad or just the antibotic doing its job. Saturday morning he was still having this problem, so we called the Dr. & he told us to go to either the Instacare or the ER. We had some neighbors come over & give Mike a blessing & then headed to the ER. I had to stay outside because I had Gavin & they wouldn't let him in. We called Mike's Mom & Sister & asked them to come down to get Gavin so I could be with Mike. They ran some tests, some of which turned out to be okay & others we haven't found the results of yet. They put an IV in him & released him about 2 telling him to rest, relax & liquids for 24 hours. He is still not feeling the best, but it seems he is on the upswing. Thankfully still, Gavin & I haven't gotten it & are still out of the clear. I am still sleeping on the air mattress in the Dining room, so hopefully by this weekend everything will be back to normal for our Family Pictures. Thanks again everyone for helping us & thinking of us & being there for us!
