Humvee

On Sunday, Mike ran with Gavin and Greyson to Camp Williams to drop off some Navy books. When they got there, some of his Navy buddies just pulled up on the Humvee so the boys got to sit in it. They loved it!

Greyson's Preschool Field Trip - Fire Station

Last week, Greyson learned Stop, Drop, and Roll at preschool, so it is only fitting that this week they took their first field trip to the Fire Station. He did so much more this year then he did last year. He was in the class picture and even held the fire hose. He sat in the fire truck and loved the field trip!

He Sleeps

I don't know what it is about a sleeping baby that I just want to take lots of pictures of, but it is pretty cute!

After Surgery, fell asleep on the couch
Sleeping really cutely

Garett's Surgery

Garett has been having a hard time with his circumcision since he was about 9 months old. It would always roll to his fat pouch and was trying to reattach itself. So in August we went to a Pediatric Urologist and he said that it needed to be surgically redone so that it doesn't get infected in the future, and that now is the best time to do it.

So on September 10th I took him to Primary Children's Medical Center in Riverton and we got it done. It was about a 20 minute procedure and I was only away from him for about 45 minutes total, but it is now fixed and he is doing great. He was such a good boy and we were only at the Hospital for total of 3 and a half hours. And the best part of the recovery is that he gets baths everyday!

Lots of Bathing, which he LOVES!

Aquarium

The boys have been asking for months when we can go to the Aquarium. We haven't been to the new one and the last time we went was when Greyson turned one. So we told them we would go the Saturday before Labor day, and finally the day was here. We went to the Aquarium, and it was a lot of fun. Greyson loved the Sharks, and Gavin loved the Penguins, and Garett just liked being out of the house :)  We had a lot of fun on one of our last adventures before Mike leaves.

Superhero Boys

At our 3rd yardsale of the year this year, up at Mike's mom's house, the boys found these capes that I was trying to sell, because lets be honest, they didn't ever wear them. Well, they found them and wanted to wear them the rest of the day. And now they are still hanging around my house, sometimes being worn, but for the most part, not. I think I might have just thrown them away last weekend...Shhhhhh!  But, they are cute anyway!

Greyson's First Day of Second Year Preschool

Or Pre-K, whatever you want to call it. On August 25th, Greyson started his 2nd year of Preschool.  He is learning so much and I think is enjoying his time this year so much more than last year. He had his first field trip this week which I will blog about later and talks about the letters he is learning and songs they sing. He is so excited to go to school next year and wishes he could go now, but all in due time buddy! He goes to school Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:15 to 11:45, and his teacher is Teacher Jenny again.

Gavin's First Day of First Grade

On August 19th, Gavin started his first day of first Grade, Dual Immersion. And the fun thing about that, is that Mike gets to take him to school and I get to pick him up and take him home. It has been a lot of fun doing that with him. He has already learned so much in Spanish and is loving his school and all the new friends he is making.

DIY Splash Pad

It was the Middle of August and still hot outside, before school started, and the boys wanted to go outside to play. Mike went out with him and somehow the water got turned on and next thing you know, all 3 of the boys are soaked and having the best time ever. Who needs to get ready for the splash pad with swimsuits on and drive 10 minutes to get there when you can DIY it at home!

Mr. Independent

Garett is always wanting to do things on his own. It gets really old, really fast, but oh well, right? He is always wanting to eat a go-gurt by himself and either ends up with a mess all over the house, or choking himself trying to get more out, but heaven forbid if you try to help him.
