Back to Work

This post has been a while coming! Well, at least a week! I have been back to work for a week now...7 days total! I can't believe how fast 6 weeks came & went, as well as this last week, especially being away from Gavin & Mike. I work from 8-4:30 & Mike works the Grave shift so from 9-5:30. It kinda sucks because Gavin isn't getting a ton of sleep during the day, which means that Mike isn't getting much sleep, but we are working on getting Mike's schedule changed to 2-11. I just want to thank everyone for their support this last week. People offering to help Mike out, asking me how I am doing, etc. It has been a struggle, but we are making it work!

Gavin is doing good. We are blessing him on Sunday, so we have tons of family coming in this weekend, which is exciting. I can't wait to see everyone again.

Also, my sister, Wendy, got engaged last night, so I just wanted to say Congrats to her & Andrew, & we look forward to adding another family member to the Farnsworth family. That will be the 3rd this year & the 2nd wedding for our Family this year! It has been a wild & crazy ride, but I wouldn't have it any other way! Love to all!

1 Month!

Gavin hit the one month mark a week ago...I can't believe how big he is getting. Last Friday we had a little scare with him. He woke up with a fever, so we took him to the Dr. Turns out he has a cold...poor kid! We had to put him through the ringer of tests to get that conclusion though! He had to get blood drawn from his tiny little arm! He did good with that, but the blood clotted, so they had to do a heel stick. I thought he would do good with that because at his 2 week appt, he didn't cry when they did it for the PKU test...but this time, not so much! He screamed & cried the whole time! & that isn't even the worst of it! We then had to go get a Respitory test done! He didn't like that so much either & I had a hard time watching!

He has since then gotten better! We are so thankful for that...We love our little guy! Here are some pictures of our cute 1 month old!

Bear!

We haven't blogged in a while...but I've got a minute, so I thought I would! Lets start with Bear...because we haven't blogged about him in a minute & he is still part of the family. He has been such a great dog since Gavin has been here. He is just curious about him! We try to play with him as much as we can every day & I cuddle with him at night! He has really made a great transition with Gavin here! We love him & wouldn't trade him for anything!
