Play Date

On Monday, July 25th, Gavin had a fun playdate with some people in the neighborhood to the new splash pad in Eagle Mountain. He was kind of not feeling well, we had just been hit with another round of colds in our house, and he is not a fan of water, but he did have fun! I think we will be trying to go more often.

Just a Thought

I don't know what made me think of this & hopefully I can write it out as well as I can explain it so you get the jist of it...

I was born 15 days away from my parents 1st anniversary
Gavin was born 3 days away from our 4th anniversary
Emma was born 12 days away from Andrew & Wendy's 2nd anniversary

These are all 1st babies for us.

Emma Louise Roberts

My awesome Sister Wendy had her sweet baby girl today. Emma Louise Roberts was born at 4:30pm in Rexburg, ID. She was born at 33 weeks so 7 weeks early. She will spend some time in the Hospital in the NICU before she is able to go home with her parents. She was a small 4 lbs 3 ozs but is a fighter, or she wouldn't have wanted to make an early appearance! We love you sweet Emma and are praying for you to get bigger and stronger soon so you can start to experience this wonderful world! Please keep Baby Emma, Wendy and Andrew in your prayers that they might all be together soon! Can't wait to meet you Sweet Emma Lou!

More Cha-Cha-Cha-Changes

Mike has got a NEW job.! YAY! Larry H. Miller Honda just wasn't working out for us & thankfully the Lord was looking out for us & what Mike wanted and needed. He got a new job at All Tune Automotive in Spanish Fork...Not making flat rate, but hourly! YAY! He started today and already enjoyed his first day. He gets a lunch break & there is only 1 other mechanic at that shop, so he gets plenty of work. There is room for growth and advancement here so we are hoping and praying that this works out for us & gets us where we want to be! No Good, Very Bad Day

On July 1st we had a love/hate relationship with that day! 1st of all I pumped 12 oz in the morning from 1 pump...WOW. That made a total of 21 oz pumped for the day. Crazy? Yes...I am a pumping machine! It was a busy day at work because it was the 1st of the month, so the day went by fast. At Lunch, my sissy, Cathy, called me and told me that Gavin had thrown up. She thought it was because he hadn't chewed his lunch very well, choked on it & threw it up. Yum. He had done this a couple days earlier with Mike, no big deal.

That night we decided to go to Cafe Rio, Greyson had gotten his 2 month shots the day before & was SUPER fussy. Gavin decided he didn't want to eat a thing. I was trying to soothe Greyson & Gavin was playing on Cathy's lap when all of a sudden, he started dry heaving, then came the puke! YUM! All over Cathy & I. I traded kids with her, ran Gavin outside & started striping him. I didn't have anything to change him into, so he had to drive home naked with a diaper on.

I only got to eat 1/4 of my salad from Cafe Rio, but that didn't make much difference, Greyson still didn't like it, so it looks like no more Cafe Rio for me for a year! Great! Fortunately Gavin hasn't thrown up since & Greyson's legs are better from the shots & hasn't been so gassy (because his mom is really watching what she eats!) Needless to say, it was a no good, very bad day!

New Stroller

Back in February I scored this INCREDIBLE deal on a Double Jogging Stroller...for $14 bones! AMAZING! We finally put it together a week or so ago & put the boys in it & can I just say that I am in LOVE?

It has 2 seats...of course that are separate from each other so that Greyson can sit back & Gavin can sit up. It has storage behind each seat, and on the top bar of the stroller. It is really the nicest thing ever! I am so glad I found the deal & bought it when I did! Check out the pictures.

Blessing Day

On Sunday, July 3rd, we blessed Greyson! What a special day. He wore the same outfit that Gavin did. We didn't get a family picture because as soon as we got home, Mike decided to change his clothes & Gavin took a walk with my brother, so here he is in his blessing outfit & blessing blanket & with me. He did such a good job during the blessing, he slept the whole time like nothing was going on! What a trooper. After Sacrament, we had family over for a BBQ. We had Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Fruit, Salads, Chips and Cupcakes! YUM! It was a wonderful day for all of us to be together. Thanks everyone who came and supported us! We love you all and are so thankful for Greyson in our family & lives!

2 Months

I can't believe Greyson is already 2 months old. Where had the time gone? Here are his stats!

Weight - 12 lbs 4.5 ounces - 64%tile
Height - 23 & 1/2 inches - 76%tile
Head - 50 cm - 50%tile

So he is a BIG BOY!

He is now down to 6 feedings a day. He will go to sleep about 9ish in his bassinet and sleep until 2:45 then back down at 3:30 and up sometime in the morning after I have left for work to eat again. He eats about 12 ounces a day while I am gone. He is really good at holding his head up when he is standing or sitting on our laps. He loves his pacifier & loves his baths also. He is not a fan of his swing, but will tolerate it for 10 or so minutes at a time. He will not go to sleep eating, and if I put him down, he wakes right back up so we have to swaddle him and give him his pacifier and put him in his bassinet for sleep night time. He usually takes about 45 minutes to fall asleep that way. He still has a ton of hair & smiles at us all the time, even when he is super hungry, he will still smile at us. He is in 0-3 month clothes, but we will probably be moving him up to 3-6 month clothes soon & he is in size 1 diapers!

We are so in love with this little boy! We are so glad he is a part of our family!
