I have been waiting 6 LONG MONTHS to get a cute picture of my two babies together. It isn't exactly the cutest picture, but hey...I got one! FINALLY!

Guess who has his First 2 Teeth?
This Cute Boy!
His first botton tooth popped up on Saturday the 29th and the second bottom tooth popped up yesterday the 30th. If you remember this post, you would remember that 2 years ago on the 29th that is when Gavin got his first 2 teeth. I don't know what it is about my kids and Halloween that brings out their teeth, but...Mike says it is because they need to have teeth to eat all the Halloween Candy! My baby is sure growing up!

Playing at the Park
For probably the last time this year:(. Last Saturday was a BEAUTIFUL day, so we went to our favorite park with some friends for a great time. Gavin loves it at the park. He really loved the Swings. This was his first time EVER on the swings, he laughed and laughed and laughed the whole time! He loves to slide down the slide too! We had a fun time!

Greyson Starts Solids
For the last couple weeks, (okay, Months) I would give Greyson icecream on a spoon to see how he would do with it. Up until last week he would still "spit" it back out with this tounge. On Wednesday after we went to see the "Cars" cars, we went to Sonic for dinner and I got an icecream. I decided to try again & he did so good with it, I decided it was finally time to start him on solids.
So Yesterday that is what we did. I mixed some Oatmeal with some Milk (don't worry, it was the breast kind, and it's not like he hasn't had enough dairy!) and he ate it right up. I don't think I made enough for him, he wanted more. So tonight when I mix him some, I will double it and see how he does. Then tomorrow, I am planning on starting some veggies to see how he does with that! My little guy is growing up!

"Cars" Cars
Tuesday and Yesterday, 3 Cars from the Movie "Cars 2" were in Salt Lake City at the Energy Solutions Arena. I had to work both days and really didn't find out about it until Tuesday night. I had decided that we probably shouldn't go, but yesterday on my way home from work, I decided to brave it and take the boys down to see them! We got some cool swag bags and won some awesome items to take with us. Then we got pictures of Lightning McQueen, Mater and Finn, and pictures with the characters as well! Gavin loved it! So glad I decided to go!

Pumpkin Patch
We went to the Pumpkin Patch this year for our Pumkins! Gavin had the best time walking aroung and looking at all the pumkins. He also like the fact that he wasn't couped up and could wander. The owners also gave the boys a Hayride on the tractor. Gavin wasn't so sure at first when I didn't get on, but half way through, after dad promised that mom would be right back, he loved it! We got ourselves some Pumpkin winners this year! Say tuned for Pumpkin Carving!

Remembering the Red & Blues
I don't know what made me think of this, but I thought I would "journal" some of our most memorable run-ins with the police!
The day I had Greyson I was "speeding" through construction on I-15, not really paying attention to anything, because 1- I was tired & 2- It was my last day of work before I would have a baby & get 6 weeks maternity leave. I looked in my rear view mirror & there was red & blues. I pulled over & was greeted by literally the nicest Utah County Sheriff possible. He asked me where I was going, why I was going so fast & asked me to slow down for my precious cargo I was about to deliver & to save ourselves $500 from speeding tickets! Thanks Mr. Officer!
Coming home from AZ on our honeymoon we were coming through the canyon right before you get to Page & Lake Powell. Mike was of course speeding, and we passed a police officer headed the other direction. He quickly turned around and pulled us over. We explained that we were on our honeymoon and were headed home to move into our new place and start our new lives together. He let us off with a written warning...that warning is in our wedding album!
In March 2008 we took a vacation down to AZ to hang out with Mike's dad & got to the Rein Festival and fun stuff like that. We were almost to Lake Powell and of course, you guessed it, Mike was speeding. There was amazingly enough cars in front and behind us that were going the same speed as us and the police officer was headed in the other direction, but he pulled a U-y and started passing cars...until he got to us. We were for sure he was going to pass us as well because there were cars in front of us also, but to no avail! He pulled us over. He asked us where we were going and all the fun questions. And of course, he let us go with a warning!
About a year ago, Eagle Mountain got a stop sign out in City Center by the new Stake Center Church Building that was built. One night at about 2 in the morning, Mike was coming home from work from Home Depot. He stopped at the stop sign then continued home. He passed a Utah County Sheriff around the bend a little bit after the stop sign. He pulled Mike over just to verify that he stopped at the new stop sign! We think the Sheriff was just bored, because he didn't know either way if Mike stopped and just wanted to chat it up with him. Silly Sheriff!
So there you go! Slow down kids! You won't always get off with a warning!

5 Months
Greyson is 5 Months old (a couple weeks ago!) Man, where does the time go? I have no idea what his stats are, but he was 14 lbs 12.5 ozs when we took him to the Dr. for his Asthma appointment. Such my big boy. Here are some highlights!
*He is still not rolling (because I don't give him the opportunity.) He does get really close sometimes.
*His feeding schedule has once again changed. He was eating 6 times a day, then he went down to 5 times a day but now he is back to 6. And it is at totally different times then it was before.
*He still sleeps the night through...most the time. Maybe once a week he will wake up at 2 ready to play!
*I have been trying to put him in this bassinet drowsy to have him go to sleep, but it just riles him up more and he will break out of his swaddle and start cooing like crazy. No crying, just talking. So we have gone back to bouncing him to sleep and moving him to his bassinet.
*He loves to laugh at us, with us, and just because. He is the happiest baby!
*He acts like he wants to eat our food, but when I feed him something from a spoon it just comes right back out with his tongue.
*I have determined that he is a home body. And doesn't like the car or the carseat unless he is tired and asleep.
*He loves to lay on the floor and play.
*He can't be in a room alone, he has to see someone or he is not okay!
We love our little munchkin and are so glad that things have turned out the way they have!
