So since Mike was leaving on the 12th and I had most (if not all) of the boys' Christmas already bought, we decided we needed to wrap, so that I wouldn't be stuck with it all before Christmas and/or it wouldn't have to be something that was done Christmas Eve. So we wrapped everything we had. I did buy something else for Greyson that I will need to get wrapped, but at least the bulk of it is done! YAY!

Halloween
Before Mike left, we were able to go and find the boys Halloween Costumes for this year. I feel like I haven't been on top of it because I usually have their costumes by September, but this year was harder to find things they wanted. But we made them pick from what Target and Walmart had, and they all walked away happy!

Birthday (34)
I turned 34 at the beginning of the month. Oh man, am I getting old. It was a Sunday, and there was Conference, so we ordered Waffle Love Dough and had Waffle Love Waffles for breakfast and Homemade Cafe Rio for dinner. It was all so good and and nice break from my normal eating. It was a good day to spend with my family and I am glad Mike didn't have to leave before my birthday.

Greyson's First Day of Kindergarten
This is Greyson's first day of Kindergarten 8/29/2016. He is getting so big! Where is the time going?
Sundays
This is a normal Sunday for us. Greyson is being crazy, we are starting a book, and Garett is asleep because he didn't have a nap. (This was a Sunday in August before Greyson started school 8/28/2016).
Splash Pad
The end of August, we finally made it to the splash pad for the year. The boys were super excited and we could say we crossed it off the list for 2016!
It is time to Catch up
Hello in Blog Land. I haven't blogged since August. I say it is time for an update, right? Well, most of my new photos are now on my computer because I had to move them over from my phone, but the ones I have on my phone will have to do for now until I can get home and update from my computer with all the pictures.
But first, how about a family update?
Garett - He is growing like a weed. He wants to go to school so bad like his big brothers, but we keep telling him he will go next year. He can sing his ABC song and lots of other songs. He loves watching Zootopia and doing anything his brothers do. He loves playing outside and with Legos, even though he isn't supposed to. He loves his big boy bed, and is my most unpicky eater. He is in size 7 shoes, size 4 diapers and size 3T clothes.
Greyson - Loves Kindergarten and his teachers and friends. Kinda got off to a rough start, but had really adjusted and is learning a lot. He reads a lot of words already and loves to read with us at night and pick out the words he knows. He loves to play outside except for when a dog or cat is around. He is my best sleeper and will usually fall asleep really fast and sleep in the next day. He is in 5T and size Small Boy's clothes and size 10 shoes. He still has to wear a pull up at night, but is waking up more nights dry then wet nowadays, so it is getting better. He is my kid that knows what is wants, likes and isn't afraid to let you know his opinion. He also is very sensitive when he is doing something wrong and being disciplined. He doesn't like it when people are mad at him.
Gavin - He is doing so good a Dual Immersion Spanish and is really taking off with it. He struggles with Math, but once he gets a chance to do some homework he knows what he is doing and gets better at it. He loves reading his Chapter books and will sit down with Greyson and Garett and read to them. He loves to play outside and with Legos. He still wakes up super early in the morning, but that is just Gavin. He is in Medium Boy's clothes and size 12 shoes. He is really my get along by himself, entertain himself, play by himself boy. He will play with his brothers, but doesn't have to.
Mike - Mike left for training in Texas last week, so we are on day 10 without him. It has been crazy, lots of ups and downs, lots of firsts, and chaos, but we are getting through it, one day at a time. He has tests everyday he has to take and it has been going good, they haven't sent him home yet. He has a big text next week that he is really studying for and it is a big one, so pray for him to pass it so he can continue. We haven't come this far for him to be send home 2 weeks in!
Me - Still working, hoping Mike's first paycheck in November can help pay down some debts and I can quit my job the end of the year. Our babysitter graduates from school the end of December and wants to start looking for a job, so I will need to get something figured out. All my Christmas Shopping for the boys is mainly done and wrapped. I just have Mike, family and stocking stuffers left to get. Other than that, we are just plugging along.
So, that is a little update on us! I will post some specific things with pictures next :)

24th of July
The boys are always so excited for July because we can do fireworks on the 4th for Independence Day and the 24th for Pioneer Day. The 24th was a Sunday this year, so we went to Church, hung out, had a BBQ with a yummy dessert, and lit off some fun fireworks.
Dressed Up Boys
My boys always look so nice when they are dressed up. They always want me to take a picture of them looking so nice too! This was a couple weekends ago before a family baptism.
DIY Splash Pad
A couple weekends ago, during Mike's drill weekend, the boys and I decided that we wanted to run through the sprinklers. It was a hot day and we didn't really want to go anywhere, and since we now have a backyard, that needs watered, we can just run through the sprinklers in the backyard. The boys had so much fun! And it was a dream come true for me.

4th of July, 2016
We had a fun 4th of July weekend. I went to work early on Friday and left a noon and got all our shopping done.
On Saturday, Mike woke up with Strep, so while the boys and I headed to the Movie Theater to see Finding Dory, Mike went to the instacare to get meds. After the movie, we went to lunch with Mike's mom and then did some shopping at the closing Sports Authority store. We cleaned out the boys' room and got rid of some toys.
On Sunday, we went to Church and then relaxed at home in our back yard with a fire and s'more cones. They were yummy.
On Monday, we went swimming at Camp Williams, shopping for flip flops for the boys and then did fireworks and early to bed! Gavin and Greyson loved swimming, but Garett didn't really care for it. It was a fun weekend, one that we will remember!

Allergies
My poor Greyson has bad allergies. We think we have it all under control, then the red, puffy, swollen eyes come back.
Jackson Hole Camping
At the end of June, we went camping with my family around Jackson Hole. The boys were so excited and loved camping. We went hiking up to Granite Falls and spent an afternoon in Jackson. Our Durango Battery also died several times while camping, which was not fun. But we had a fun time, and the boys are asking if we can go again.

Backyard Remodel
So this came on really fast. Mike found someone that would clear out our backyard for $10 and that happened a couple weeks ago, and then we decided to do the patio and Sod super fast because the next couple weeks are super crazy, and then we are in to July and August and that is too hot to lay sod, then we are in Fall and Mike is leaving for training, so it was now or never. Now we have a back yard. Hopefully the sod doesn't die, and we have a nice back yard to sell our house with next year.
If you don't remember what the backyard looked like before we totally scrapped it out, here is that post, with a lot of tumbleweeds. So here is a photo gallery of our back yard doings.

Family Update
I feel like I haven't done one of these in FOREVER! So how bout it?
Garett - Refuses to sleep at night, and finally falls asleep with us in the room (we have to stay until he falls asleep) at 10pm, then about 1am comes down to our room EVERYNIGHT to sleep with us. Other than that, he is an eating, talking, playing, big boy crazy kid. He talks like crazy (it's hard to believe that this time last year we were worried about his talking). He is in 24 Month and 2T clothes, size 7 shoes, size 4 diapers and still growing. I think he is 28 lbs. He likes to eat Lunchables, Go-Gurts, Cereal, French Toast Sticks, Chicken Nuggets, and Mac N Cheese. He loves to play outside. He was the big bully in Nursery, but we have moved him up to the older class and he has been doing better.
Greyson - So excited to start Kindergarten in August. I am worried about his writing, but I will print up some worksheets for him to do this summer, and hopefully he will be good. I think his acid reflux is back, but hasn't been too bad so far. He still only eats Cheetos and Cereal for the most part but will eat other things on occasion and surprise us. He is in 5T shirts, 4T pants, and size 9-10 shoes. We are still working on getting him night time potty trained, but that hasn't been going so good. Thank goodness for pull ups. He loves to play outside, but only if his brothers are out there with him. I think he is 37 lbs last time we weighed him. He goes to Primary and loves his class.
Gavin - Is ready to be done with 1st Grade (only 1/2 day left) and go to 2nd Grade Dual Immersion in August. He is reading chapter books and is doing so good at it. He is in size 7/8 shirts and 5T pants, and size 12 shoes. He loves to read, listen to his iPod Shuffle, and watch TV and Movies. He likes to play with Legos too. He is my big pretender, and will create signs for different stores that he works at like the Library, Home Depot, and Harmons. He was 46 lbs last time we weighed him I believe. He is my early riser, up at 6am most mornings. We are trying to come up with a reading plan for him this summer to motivate him to continue reading. We will see how that goes. He of course loves Primary and being one of the big kids in Sharing time. That will change next year.
Mike - Still waiting for either someone to pull out of Training so he can take their spot, or October 13th to get here for his Air Force Training. He started a new job in February at Precision Automotive in Orem, so His work, My work, and Gavin's school are literally miles away from each other. He is a co Primary teacher with me at we Teach Sunbeams. He isn't a big fan, but does it with me. Still drilling monthly, just waiting for training. Right now his big project is the backyard. We are doing a patio and sod in the next couple of weeks, so hopefully that turns out and works out ok. It will be a better selling point for our house next year, though.
Me - Still working at Provo Canyon School. I will work here until the day that we move up to Layton area probably. Sunbeam teacher and I love it! Working out everyday ish and I am almost done with my 8th week and have lost 11 lbs. It is going pretty good. I am on my 3rd week of T25 Beta, and have started Shakeology the beginning May, so I think that has helped me a lot. My big project is helping the backyard and hoping we don't spend a lot of money doing it. Then I will start to get each room inside ready to sell next year.
