2008

Well, since 2008 is over & 2009 is now upon us...I thought I would reflect on the year we had!

January - Mike turned 27. We decided to start trying for our family. We started looking into the Military.

February - The big snow storm that trapped me at the Smith's Parking Lot for several hours. We weren't pregnant. Started exploring the Army & National Guard.

March - Had our 3 year anniversary. Went to Arizona to visit Mike's Dad, Grandma & Grandpa. Mike's Grandma wasn't doing so well, so it was a good thing we visited her.

April - Mike's Grandma passed away. Found out we were Pregnant. Found out we were going to have a new Niece in September

May - Had a Miscarriage. Kinda drifted apart in our lives...I was going one way & Mike was going another with the resent events that had happened in our lives.

June - Annual White Water Rafting trip to Jackson Hole...Fell out of the boat & thought I was going to die! Got a big goose egg! Came to terms with the Miscarriage & decided to start trying again.

July - Mike decided to join to Navy...After a lot of thought, prayer & talking to everyone, we felt it was the right thing to do! We found out we were Pregnant again! Went to the Farnsworth Family Reunion.

August - Told family we were expecting. Had the first Dr. Appt. where we didn't hear the baby...Had me a little worried. Mike joined the Navy & entered Boot camp.

September - Heard Baby Gavin's heartbeat for the first time! What a life changing experience. Had a new Baby Neice & found out she was Down Syndrome! What a blessing she has already been to our family! Had some flooding in the house that I had to take care of.

October - I turned 26. Found out we were having a BOY! Mike graduated from Boot Camp & traveled to California to start his Training as a Mechanic!

November - Celebrated Thanksgiving apart! This was hard but we still had plenty to be Thankful for! Started buying "boy" stuff for Gavin.

December - Spent 10 days with Mike. Celebrated Christmas & the reason for the Season. Started getting things ready for Gavin & the Nursery!

WOW! What a year. It has truly gone by so fast. We ony hafve 11 weeks until Gavin gets here & we have so much already to do this year. May you all have a blessed 2009!
